Hi All,

Selling a RCR Superlite I purchased a couple years ago as a streetable track car. Car runs and is ready to go. Absolute blast to drive and handles like it is on rails. Trying to downsize my collection and simply don't drive them enough. This car has been very reliable and gets tons of attention even stopping for gas. I'd almost say too much. I took it to Cars and Coffee at Katie's in Great Falls, Virginia and it easily beat out all the Ferraris and Porsches for attention.

Car was originally put together at Fran's shop in Clinton Township and I drove it down to Fredericksburg,Virginia without issue. Evolution Motorsport Engineering then did some additional work with body and door fitment, powdercoating and Pearl White wrap which turned out phenomenal.

Price is $82000 OBO. Just trying to get out of it what I put in.

Car has never seen the track, only street driven.

Powertrain:

-Stock LS3 wet sump, rated at 430hp.
-Porsche G96.50 6 speed transaxle with stock gearing. Still gets 21mpg highway cruising

-Forgestar F14 wheels in 19x9.5 and 19x12. Powdercoated black.
-Nitto Invo in 275fr and 325rr.
-Brembo 4 pot brakes front and rear with 14" rotors.

Exterior:
-Originally a greyish-blue, now 3M wrapped in Pearl White
-Massive rear wing with a Carbon fiber blade and Aluminum side plates and stanchions in black
-Brake calipers powdercoated red
-Engine cover powdercoated black

Interior:
-Spartan to say the least, basically Porsche Cup car like. It has RCR fiberglass race seats with 5 point harnesses
-Tilton style pedal box
-RCR emblem, momo style detachable steering wheel. Covered in Alacantara.
-Corvette style replica dash with KOSO gauge cluster
-Fully functioning AC and heat
-Infinity Box security system using a key fob.

This car is a beauty and Fran makes dreams a reality with his business and engineering capabilities. But many of my Vette's and Porsche's sit collecting dust or worse gaskets and vacuum lines break down over time and cause issue. This car needs a race track.

I'm open to offers. I know the market has had a recent down trend thanks to trade wars.

Update I will separate the engine and transaxle and sell as a $70,000 roller: You're getting everything ready to go minus your powertrain of choice right now instead of waiting several months for a kit from RCR plus waitlist time for the popular builder in Connecticut which is several more months on top of that. Some folks wish to put in a LS7 and Ricardo or R8 trans. If I was to do that for you it would become a $110k + car.

FYI a Porsche 911 Cup car still weighs more and has a 80 lb ft torque handicap compared to this car. They still go for $200k+ used with a lot of hours on the engine and gearbox.

LS3s are great engines. They're standard issue in LMP3 cars. Add 1/2 quart of oil and a better oil pan windage tray/scraper and you can pull 1.4g all day long at the track. Don't get sucked into the "must have dry sump" mentality.

Dusty,

It appears that this car has a Street Tail. Would you please include a picture of the rear clam shell /wing installed as described above.

Thank you,

Dusty-
I've been looking at the SL-C and have a couple of questions about your car. What height driver is your car currently set up for, and what adjustability have you built into seating /pedals /etc.(I'm 6'3")? Does your gearbox have LSD? Are you running a RCR rear wing or something aftermarket?
Thanks!
Dave

Hi All,

I don't believe the G96 has an LSD. The car has a OEM RCR carbon fiber wing with aluminum stanchions, all factory from Fran's shop. I had them powdercoated black to contrast with the pearl white wrap.

Car was sold for a little less than 70k. Hopefully the current owner is not looking to flip it for a profit. Comments were made on quality etc. Everything worked without issue. Being mid-engine configuration it inspires far more handling confidence than any of my front engine Corvette track cars.

TIP FOR CURRENT OWNER- IN POST #5... the engine picture shows the filtered air hose that leads to the valve cover attached before the MAF sensor. It's supposed to be attached to the intake air tube after the MAF sensor.
