"With reference to the recent exchange of postings by GTD SUPERCARS & CAV, I think that it is opportune for the GTD40s Car Club to state/clarify its current position with GTD SUPERCARS.
The GTD40s Car Club is not associated with GTD SUPERCARS, its owner or agents. For the avoidance of doubt, the Club is a totally independant club and does not receive support, financial or otherwise, from GTD SUPERCARS.
The GTD 40s Car Club was originally established to support owners of GT 40 replicas, and other GTD products, produced by Ray Christopher's company, GT Developments of Poole. Since a manufacturing licence was extended to Roger Marsh's new company, GTD SUPERCARS, any interaction between the Club and the "new factory" failed to get established and subsequently ceased altogether. Since then the Club has not been tied to any one manufacturer and has broadened it's horizons to welcome owners of all quality GT 40 replicas from around the world, for the good of the international GT 40 community.
The Club would be very interested to see examples of GT40 replicas produced by GTD SUPERCARS, and would welcome the owners into the Club.
The Club welcomes the owners of Ford GT40s and any make of quality GT40 replica."
