Rep Power: 12 | Re: Le Mans Classic 2004 Max\'s \'Personal\' Diary The first of the pics that my son Andrew took at the Classic are on his website at http://andrewhunt.fotopic.net/c244973.html.
There are some great GT40 action photos and some of the Club line up, including one in which a certain silver car with a yellow stripe features prominently! http://andrewhunt.fotopic.net/p6314017.html.
There are also a couple taken during the parade lap - I like the one on the Start/Finish straight http://andrewhunt.fotopic.net/p6314021.html - eat your hearts out wannabe Steve McQueens! The '40 in front is Brian's, chucking out its customary cloud of black smoke after having been kept idling for too long waiting for our turn. The smell was awful!
If anyone wants 10"x8" photo-quality prints of any of these pictures, please contact Andrew on mail@andrewhunt.net. His rates are very reasonable! |

Rep Power: 11 | Re: Le Mans Classic 2004 Max\'s \'Personal\' Diary Here's a few more pictures, these were taken by my passenger Paul, who has just returned safely from his Himalaya expedition (successfully climbed Choy Oyu - the 6th highest).
This was our 'convoy' on the motorway going down to Le Mans. In front is Dave Champ, then Ian (Perrys) O'Reilly with Roy Snook just in front of us. |

Rep Power: 11 | Re: Le Mans Classic 2004 Max\'s \'Personal\' Diary The infamous O'Reilly thrust bearing change. Roy looks like he is just about to operate, Seb has his hands well into the gearbox on the ground. Not sure who the other guy is, was he the Frenchman from the caravan nextdoor? |

Rep Power: 11 | Re: Le Mans Classic 2004 Max\'s \'Personal\' Diary My car (me talking to another Frenchman), French Robbie's car (ex Lee Stanley) in front, Dick Townsend's in behind (looks like he has shrunk & is struggling to reach the wheel!). |

Rep Power: 11 | Re: Le Mans Classic 2004 Max\'s \'Personal\' Diary Robbie's car again, he is in the orange shirt behind the Frenchman in the green shirt & flat cap. Dick is selling T-shirts as normal. I even left Ken's Marcos on this one! |

Rep Power: 11 | Re: Le Mans Classic 2004 Max\'s \'Personal\' Diary Mirror, Mirror on the wall, who is the baldest of them all? (Ok, it's me). Paul climbed a tree to see if he could get some better pictures of the cars on the track, but instead just got this one of Clive, Roy, Ian & myself. |
