| Fairmile Group Christmas Dinner
I am sure all of those who wined and dined at Ristorante La Terrazza in Surbiton last night will join me in thanking all those involved in arranging the party, especially Tim and Ian. My apologies if I have not mentioned anyone else by name who helped in the arrangements.
As far as I could tell everyone thoroughly enjoyed the good food and the socialising. Of course, it was nice to meet up again with the regulars but also to meet new "enthusiasts" - you know who you are!
As 2006 draws to a conclusion and we tuck up our cars in their garages for a few months of recuperation and/or refurbishment I think all members should thank Des as Chairman and all the Committee members for their sheer hard work and determination to put on a full programme of events in what has been a special year for the GT40.
Classic Le Mans was something extraordinary. The contributions to Fortyfication have been of considerable interest and value. Our Club is the envy of others.
