Granada mk2 disc pads

Does anybody make upgraded pads for the standard Granada calliper ? im looking for something like a fast road pad, something like ebc green stuff or mintex 1144 but i don't think either of these manufacturer's cater for it. Anybody any ideas ?

Re: Granada mk2 disc pads

Jason, find out the brake pad code, which is usually like G27 or something like that. Then you can contact Porterfield through Porterfield Racing Brake Pads - Brake Pads for your auto, van and truck. The original Carbon Kevlar Racing Brake Pad. Racing Rotors, Calipers, Fuel Cells, Drum Brakes, Disc Brakes. They have street/track pads. I called them once and just described the dimensions of my pad and the guy knew exactly the ones I needed so call them.

Re: Granada mk2 disc pads

Also have a look at the other mintex pad materials, ie 1155 and 1166. I would discard the 1166 as it needs proper heat in the brakes before it works but the 1155 has the same cold working properties as the 1144's but goes on 100 degrees higher than the 1144's. I have started running the 1155's and am pleased with them. Just a thought. Oh, but please note there is a price hike between the two types of pads, 1155 being more expensive by some margin.
