The Cholmondely Pageant of Power is on this weekend 18th and 19th at Cholmondely Castle in Cheshire. The northern group of the GT40 Enthusiasts Club will have stand and should have 16 cars on display. For the info about the meeting check out Pageant of Power - 18th & 19th July 2009

After attending last year, I can recommend the event if not the weather! Fingers crossed for this year. Debbie and I will be there to add some southern culture to the northern brigade! I can say that, as I'm a recovering northerner myself.. Andrew
Look forward to seeing you there Andrew. We will sort you out with a fresh injection of northern style! Sorry Martin won't be there as he is at some some second rate do in the states - road america or something it's called. Still maybe he can flog a few gearboxes and save wasting his time.

For those coming to the Pageant the club stand is No 19. Those people coming in their 40s enter by the car clubs entrance which is the big castle style gate on the A49. Go along the drive which is a bit dirty so go slowly to avoid dirt spray. As you come to the club areas we are the second stand on the left. The grass is quite long and wet so a pair of wellies would be a good idea. See you there.

A few more pics from the weekend. The weather was a bit grim at times today but we had a really good demo of aerobatics from a stunt plane and a superb session from a Spitfire in D day stripes. Some good action from the racing hydroplanes on the lake which were pulling over 3g in the turns! 14 GT40s on the club stand today and lots of interest from the crowds. Thanks to all who helped out and brought their cars especially Pete Thompson who organised everything.

Just to say a big thank you for all the members at the show, as a "wanabee" gt40 owner I was treated to a great welcome (sorry I did not get a name) great knowledge, and a trial fit in a car. I know now I want at GT40 and the research is now underway as to which one.
