Manchester Classic Car Show Club Stand

Stirling work once again by Pete Thompson to organise the club stand (with the new 50 years of the GT40 banner). Pete's Alloy chassis 7.0 litre car, Kev Farrington's Gulf KVA/GTD and Ege Ferguson's white GTD graced the stand. My car was a no show due to a crocked left leg. The venue was a trifle dark so my flash did little to light up the hall but I did the best I could in the circumstances. The cars as usual were a top attraction with a constant stream of visitors and endless pics being taken in and around the cars. A pity the rest of the show was not as good and someone had decided to provide 'entertainment' in the form of a Michael Buble stylee karaoke singer with the volume turned up to 11. Great! or more accurately grate! Still we soldiered on by shouting as loud as we could until they gave us a break.

Cheers
Mike
