The Elephant Show

The northern contingent attended the classic car show on the green at the back of the Elephant pub in Shavington yesterday. We had 4 GT40s and Nick Brough's superb blue Brough. You can see the man himself in pale blue T-shirt lurking behind his car looking nonchalant.
As you can see it was a bit of of a village fair atmosphere and a good sunny afternoon. There was a good mix of stuff to see there there and it was a good social event including a good pub lunch, jazz band and barbeque. What's not to like.
Cheers
Mike

Mike, Thanks for posting the great pics. Truly a very nice mixture of cars and bikes. Lovely setting too. Nothing like a nice British summers day with a bit of sun popping out.

Having lived in England for many years I recall vividly how stunning England is when the suns out especially when you're out and about at a country pub. Beautiful place to be.

Just an FYI, saw a few "Stars and Bars" (the flag of the Confederate States) flying over the American contingent of cars....currently considered a tad politically incorrect over here at present.
