Here are a few pics of the GT40 Enthusiasts Club Area etc. at the Silverstone Classic on Saturday. I saw the Cuff/Soper car shunted into a spin early in the race at Brooklands as it was battling in a big bunch of cars. It suffered a crunched left rear section but continued in company with the other GT40 ( Silver Smith/Cottingham car) for several laps but sadly went AWOL about 2/3rds the way through the race.
The GT40s were in a tough race with much later cars with a dozen Lola T70s, Chevron B19s etc. so were quite a bit down the field against such high powered, light and fast opposition.
