Anybody know the manufacturer of this GT40 go cart? Picture taken at Daytona 24hr.

Did you do a search Chuck? I think this is the same one that has been on here before. I have pics of the rough 1st draft at my web page of this far more developed version.


There was also one in Europe around the September time frame, if I remember right, that was on a car sale site. It went for pretty big money as I recall: ~$10K.

Yea I did a search but similar to your picture, the version looked substantially rougher than the Daytona one and layout looked more serious go cart (wide tires/stance/etc.) than play cart with a reasonable mock up of the body. I'm after something that I won't cringe every time the kids play in. Of course that puts those Ford licensed mini's from the Le Mans pre race way out my idea of reasonable (purpose and $)!
