RC model of new Ford GT

I have just seen a article in the Daily Mirror 17.12.04 for a New Ford GT radio controlled model at £17.99 body only. From www.mirageracing.com

Re: RC model of new Ford GT

i purchased 2 1/18th scale for my grandsons for Christmas. The red one is one freq and the white the other. They run at about 10 MPH and very durable. From Radio Shack. They were $40 each (nothing to do with GT40) but should be half price after Christmas.

Re: RC model of new Ford GT

I went to the relocated Harrow model shop in North Harrow. He had a Nikko (or is it Nitto) Ford GT in yellow with black stripes for £100.

I have one, it's Nikko. Nicely done for the price. Sadly, it has no speed control beyone forward and reverse - at full tilt. Turns well and sure gives the cats a run! Shop around, it should be available for less than that.

Re: RC model of new Ford GT

Or just buy a Tamiya TT-01 kit, a 15 wind motor with ESC, gear it for speed and buy the 190mm HPI GT40 body. Presto, a quick parkinglot warrior. And you get to paint it yourself to replicate your own car..cool huh?..
