Le Mans LP

A bit scratched, but an interesting find at an autojumble last weekend none-the-less. Haven't had a chance to listen to it yet...

Re: Le Mans LP

Brian,
The maddening thing is that we were so blase about the whole business at the time, with young families etc to absorb our energies.
This looks historic. Any chance that it could be ripped to an mp3 file? I would offer to do it for you, but NZ to UK is a long way to send something fragile like an LP. Still, if you want to.........

Re: Le Mans LP

I'll see what I can do if it is in reasonable playing condition Tony. What sort of money did they go for James?

Cheers,

Brian.

Re: Le Mans LP

Brian,
Sorry mate but the cost got lost in my crystal ball.

I do remember that Decca cover and how odd it was to have an album of racing commentary but forgot that there were few other ways to mass produce recorded sound other than very basic magnetic tape.

Tempus fugit old man, tempus fugit.
