Don't accuse me of being dishonest. I have more integrity than anyone you know. Engines like this are not registerd in someones name there for it doesn't matter who your buying it from. This is exactly the reason he wants me to sell it for him. He ran into the same types of problems I'm running into with people like you not being honest with him trying to give him a low ball price and he doesn't have the patience for it. As I am starting to loose mine. The heads are C3AE J. What other information are you looking for.

Ryan-
You're not winning the battle or making friends. And since most of us (95%+) use a SBF, the FE really isn't going to sell quickly here. If you're serious about unloading this engine for a friend, go to the FE forum and list it there. You'll get the information you're looking for.

Cheers

Ryan, no one accused you of being dishonest, but since YOU brought it up, here is YOUR first post. Apparently the parts are NOT yours as represented.

I have the rods, pistons, original cobra valve covers, complete heads, cam, valve train, and a Tecalemit Jackson Fuel Injection. The only thing I don't have is the crank. Contact for more details.
"I have more integrity than anyone you know"

I know a lot of people and you have no idea of who I am. You sure you want to run with that statement?

"Engines like this are not registered in someone's name there for it doesn't matter who you are buying it from."

I try to buy items from people I can trust, so it does matter.

If my offer of $10.00 is too low, then your friend obviously has a price in mind. For what it is worth, everything is worth only what someone is willing to pay for it. What I value something at can be completely at odds at what your "friend" believes it is worth.

As a final note, I own a sideoiler with high rise heads. A spare motor is always a good thing, but since you've proven yourself so trustworthy, I'll keep my money. Thanks for joining the forum and enjoy your stay!

Ryan, though I originally was annoyed by the multiple threads and posts with little information, I have learned along the way that you are really good for entertainment around here. Pass the popcorn.

Public profile states you are 32 years old. Driving race cars since you were 8 huh? Adds to your credibility here.

Fellows,

Let's quit wasting time and bandwidth here.

Ryan, if you have an engine to sell put up the details and put up a price. Or, post up an email so that people can contact you offline to discuss. This isn't Ebay and it isn't a rompous room. It is a subforum used to sell car parts that individuals, not companies, own.

Ron
