Rod ends

I read several years ago someone who had developed a rod end with an additional lug to 1 side of the ball housing. This lug had an attachment bore which allowed the rod end to be used at the apex of a wishbone while still avoiding bending loads. Does anyone have any info on this? I've tried several manufacturers but no luck.

Re: Rod ends

Nothing new about these rod ends. They have been around for years but are very expensive. Porsche 917s etc use them.

You might try www.autoart.net/porsche/porsche.htm as a source.
