Rep Power: 3 | rear suspension caster I would like to get a feel of what people are running for caster at the rear for vehicles with the bias to the rear. With a low cg and with the weight bias towards the rear (being that's where the engine and tranny sit), what seems to be a good built in setting to start from? |

Rep Power: 0 | Re: rear suspension caster Hi Garrett, Useing original pattern rear uprights on GTDs, I set the caster at 7.5 degrees, similar to the settings on the original cars. This works well on the these cars, Frank |

Rep Power: 3 | Re: rear suspension caster Thanks guys. Holy cow 7.5 is huge, this must be effective at keeping squat to a minimum as well. I'll spend some time tonight reviewing the other thread. Nice site by the way Frank. I'm on a tidy learning curve going from front heavy american to low light and mid engine design. Must get my ducks in a row though! |

Rep Power: 7 | Re: rear suspension caster This may be a stupid question but I'll ask anyway. Which direction is the 7.5 degrees? Is the top of the upright rotated toward the rear of the car or the front?
Thanks,
Charlie |

Thanks for helping

| Re: rear suspension caster Bill
I use my digital level (the one I use for camber) but what makes it easy is the RF upright has a vertical plane on the rear of it, to sit the level on.
