GTD shocks/springs

What size/spec shocks and springs are needed on a GTD fitted with a 302/renault combination?

Simon,
Send me an email and I will respond with a mail I received on Eilbachs with details on shocks and springs measurements needed.

Re: GTD shocks/springs

Simon, contact Steve Duck at RCD Suspension. He is a Bilstein specialist who has supplied several GTD owners here in the US. He will want to know if you are going to use it for street, track or both. I am very happy with mine. I did need to thin the face of the polyurethane bushes and remove a little metal from the front spindle casting for clearance of the housing when in full droop. He can be contacted at
or by phone at (619) 588 4723 extension 109. He did the whole package of springs and shocks.

Re: GTD shocks/springs

Simon

Speak to Des Finnan Chairman of the Enthusiasts club

He has a box of springs said to be from a GTD in various poundages if you want to do a try it and see method.

Presumably a donation to the purse may be in order if you keep a set

Re: GTD shocks/springs

Simon -
I can probably find the specs of the Eibach combinations we've used on Roy's / John Bate (ex Andrew Fordyce) GTDs.

They were used with Koni 2-way adjustable shock and neither were cheap, but they do work very well...

Let me know if required and I'll locate the details and email them to you or post them here...
