Streamline (4130) tube threaded adapters

Ok, so I've seen threaded adapters made a number of ways to fit the Chrome Moly streamline tube when fabricating suspension control arms. Some, much better than others.

Does anyone know of anything available off the shelf, for these profiles?

Cheers.

Re: Streamline (4130) tube threaded adapters

Actually, as I understand it, the streamline tubing is getting very hard to buy. A lot of guys are using 'crimped' or pressed 4130 round to make oval tubes.

But still, I wonder if anyone on here has done this before?

Re: Streamline (4130) tube threaded adapters

Aircraft spruce is where we buy of our aero tubing.

We had to make all of our own threaded ends for the projects we have done with it as companies advertising the ends/inserts often dont have them available or can even give a good delivery date...

I spoke with Andrew yesterday BTW...you might be needing a body soon by the sounds of it...wink.
