They are good tyres. I have been using them for quite a few years now. The only things against them are standing water/aqua planing as the grooves are small and also the price. I had a chat with the guys on the BMTR (Avon resellers) stand at the Autosport show to see if they could do something about dropping the price a bit as the mould must have earned back it's cost by now. Here's hoping as I will need some new rears soon.

With a tread wear of 80 they won't last long, but they sure upgrade the performance of the GT while they last.

Mine have 3 seasons and ~5k miles. I think they wear pretty good actually.

does anyone know if they can be re-grooved, or have the grooves opened up.
at the Philip Island historic this year it was a bit wet for some of the sessions and there was a few getting tyres re-grooved.

I will ask when I go to pick up my fronts.
The rears are sitting in the shed at the moment.
