I am nearing the stage of my GT40 build when I have to put the frame and body on wheels.
I have decided to go with 17-inch Halibrand HA style wheels 17 x 8,5 front and 17 x 10,5 rears.
Bolt pattern I have is 5 x 112.
HA17 wheels PLUS adapter spinner kit ADTRSET : Vintage Wheels, Hot Rod and Muscle car
My question is, what biggest brakes I can put on those wheels (front and rear axle respectively)?
The reason I am asking this is because I was thinking of adapting brakes from Porsche 911`s, Panamera`s or some big AMG Merc brakes.
I can get those kits rebuilt in decent prices and they are all made using Brembo 4 or 6 or even 8 pot calibers and much better than most GT40s brakes out there.
I would appreciate any help on this topic.
