Hi All, I am part way through my Roaring Forties MK1 (narrow body) build, and was wondering what tyre sizes and brands people are using, I am going with the BRM copies, 9.5 inch rear and 8.0 inch front ?
many thanks.

I tried 215/60 R15 on the front of my RCR to replace the 205/60 R15's that I thought were too skinny. The 215's rubbed the front of the sill at not quite full lock steering. I have since changed ro 225/50 R15 which are a bit shorter, but still fill the arches and give me sufficient clearance.
My wheels are 8" front and 10" rear.
The SPF sills may be different fron the RCR and RF cars..
I agree on the rear tires - although I am running 295's back there with the RCR Wide body rear arches.
SPF MK I...205 front, 275 or 295 rears depending on how much you want to see from the rear.
Wide body all bets are off on the rear. Depends upon who did the wheel s=widening and the offset. No "street legal" rear tires for a 12-14" rear wheel save for 35 series tires that look like rubber bands wrapped around the wheels.[/
What rim dia are you thinking of ?
There isn't a lot of tyres to suit the rears in 16"
I'm running 225/50r16 & 255/50/16 on 7" & 9.5" on a RF.
Go with 15" or 17", much better choice of sizes.
