I have a 75amp internal regulator and in the wiring diagram that I have there is a resistor across the ignition warning lamp but it does not give the value of this resistor.
Can some one please tell me what value to use.
It depends on the size,sorry watt rating of the warning light bulb, some of the smaller rated bulbs do not have enough resistance to trigger the charge circuit in the alternator particularly when using USA sourced alternators with UK or Euro vehicle wiring systems. 5 ohm's rings a bell but will have to confirm that.
