Which Starter

I am going to purchase a new starter and need to know the application for the old one. Kit is by GTD and the Engine is a 302 with a Renault transaxle. THe only info I can gleen from the old starter case is that it is a Boss starter (no numbers). Any info greatly appreciated

Ben,

Try Kennedy Engineered Products. They may be

able to cross reference the Tilton number for

you. They are a boatload less expensive than

Tilton, and build a good product.

Re: Which Starter

Ben, we use a Tilton super starter part no. 54-10007, with a special adaptor to enable it to mount onto the adaptor plate between the engine and gearbox. We can supply the special adaptor if you can get the starter from Tilton. Frank
