What is the fire system used on the yellow car in the Gallery. I think it is a SPA system for sure, non-Halon?

I am thinking of mounting a 10lb bottle behind the driver. Where did you mount the nozzles?

Ron,

The system behind the drivers seat on our cars is an AFFF system. It is 4.4 kg (10 lb) and complys to FIA standards. The reason we used this system is that the FIA standards are regarded as the racing standard for the world.
Our system is a manual one, which is operated by hand with a pull handle from inside the car. An additional pull is supplied with the car and this would be operated from outside the car.
Halon is banned in most countries because of the ozone layer, I believe, and was replaced by AFFF.
A system like this should cost US $650. I am more than happy to get one for you Ron.
