I can remove the distributor from my GTD with the engine still in the car. I've got a 302 block in it's original position.
To save some time when installing it again, before removing the distributor turn the engine to TDC and note down in which direction the rotor is pointing so you can put it back as it was. [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]
