Webber carbs

I've been offered a set of 4 Webber carbs (no manifold) and have been told they are DCNF? does anybody recognise this description? would they be any good for a 302?
Thanks

Re: Webber carbs

You can download exploded views here http://www.piercemanifolds.com/weberexplode.htm . I have never seen a manifold for these for a Ford V8. They seem to have come in 40 and 44mm. The 40s would be too small.

Re: Webber carbs

intead of the Webbers you need to look at TWM Induction Throttle Bodies for your 302.

Simon

These are downdraught carbs of the same principal as IDA's or IDF's but have a 'square' pattern bolt fixing unlike the pattern of either of the others. You will have trouble finding an inlet manifold to suit. I have never heard of them fitted to a small block and would give them a miss and wait for the right ones to turn up.

Brian.

Re: Webber carbs

The traditional Weber carbs for a 289 engine is a set of four 48IDAs, which look very sexy on the car.
