Re: Engine Mounts

I also understood you can put stronger type of engine mounts.
Anyone more info on this?

Re: Engine Mounts

Frank,
I have some \Lockwood mounts, which apparently come out at the wrong angle to match up to Roy's mounts. Can you post/send a picture?

Re: Engine Mounts

Brett,

I bought a set of these from NAPA and they fit like those pictured. Come to find out they were made in China. The other source that NAPA has for these parts is in India. I made sure that the next set was sourced from India and they fit much better. I don't know if your vendor has the same sources - it wouldn't surprise me if they did - but then you may be running into the same thing.

Regards,
Lynn

Re: Engine Mounts

What happens when you flip them around? I assume it gets worse?

Re: Engine Mounts

Yep,
Just to explain, the other mount is already connected. Apparently I need a mount, which is closer/more vertical. Frank Catt has given me the Road craft part No: RUKMNT04. Anyone know what that translates to in Ford speak?

Brett

PS anyone want some Lockwwod Performance Mounts (that won't fit a GT)
