Can Anyone ID This?

Here are two pictures of my clutch slave cylinder. It mounts to the bell housing of my Renault 5 speed UNI trans. I've been to a couple parts warehouse people that can't find a replacement. The only numbers to reference on the unit is 'S6432'.

If anyone can help, I need a part number and/or car it can be referenced to. I will call Andy at Tornado if all else fails but I'm counting on you guys. Thanks in advance.

Re: Can Anyone ID This?

the clutch slave cylinder is from a renault 21 turbo both series 1 and 2 the cylinder was fittted to virtually all the rennault 21 turbos and is fairly common it can still be purchased in the uk for around 25-50 gbp depending if you go to someone like bettaparts a hydrolic wheel cylinder supplier we use or delphi from another supplier i will find out the part number and post it here if you have problems locating one in the us give me a pm

Re: Can Anyone ID This?

Chris, I was told when I got mine that it is not from a 21 turbo (Renault garage) - it is a renault item but not sure which one. Should be about £120 from what I remember.

Re: Can Anyone ID This?

Tim,

Check out Delorean parts. I bet you it is the exact part you need. If I am right, you owe me a beer (40oz) And it is cheap, meaning more money left to buy me more beer

Re: Can Anyone ID This?

I've got one that you can have if you are willing to pay postage from UK.

Re: Can Anyone ID This?

I knew you guys would pull through.

Faili, it appears to be identical.

With Mike's offer I can buy you all a few rounds, all 40oz Mike, as long as it is in good shape a doesn't need a rebuild then I'll take it. I'll pm my info.

That's great, thanks alot guys.

Accolades to the GT40s.com site

This site has once again proven the benefits, we as members, have available to us.

A simple inquiry regarding a hard to find slave cylinder produced one within hours, half way around the world, and on it’s way to my door step within 24 hrs

Thanks again to Mike for his generous offer, doesn't get much cheaper than "Free"

Rounds for everyone when we meet, including Faili

My pleasure Tim, and thanks for your generous donation to my favourite racing charity! I'll take you up on the offer of a drink too!
