What transaxle is this? It looks to be very strong but maybe heavy too.

Looks huge and heavy, good for strength. But it also appears as if angle to the hubs will be high due to the location of the hubs. Hard to tell in the picture though.

You are correct this is an original design T44. My friend casts them, machines them, assembles them with new parts. He also cast new bellhousings. They are as original as you can get to an original. He made only ten of these. Six go in the Mark IV's he's also building, Wayne
