Carb choice

Im looking for a new carburetter to replace an old Holley vac sec. 600cfm #1850.

i currently have a 300bhp 302 that is purely for the street use.It has big valve heads, 9:1 compression ratio and a street cam .I want a manual choke and something less than $400. It needs to be street driveable with good gas mileage on low throttle settings. People have recommended the Holley 4150 Double pumper or the street avenger . How do these carbs compare in terms of gas mileage and horsepower over my old 600cfm set up ?

Any recommendations?

My engine is not running yet, but I have a 670cfm Holley Street Avenger planned to go in mine. I am waiting to see one day if the power/fuel efficiency claim actually works.
