holley 650 cmf carb

just making up throttle cable bracket and realised onto which arm on the holley does it connect .any one got a photo or simple description

A quick note…the larger hole about an inch above and slightly forward of where Chuck’s throttle cable attaches can also be used. Attaching the cable to this point not only gives more progression to the throttle actuation, but also reduces wear on the primary throttle shaft by reducing the amount of linear stress placed on the linkage assembly. If necessary, bushings to reduce the i.d. of this hole down to a size compatible with your cable hardware are available from practically all of the major fuel system vendors. The one factor to keep in mind is that, compared to the mounting point shown in Chuck’s picture, attaching the cable higher on the linkage plate will increase the total cable travel (and hence, pedal travel as well) from idle to W.O.T. This usually isn’t an issue, and is almost never a problem that can’t be fixed with some fairly simple changes to the geometry of pedal assembly itself.
