I've noticed that Kinsler's tend to have longer runner lengths than other IR set-ups....cough...inglese.....cough....... That should go a long way towards making up the torque deficiency in Clevelands. But I wonder if such a long runner would run inteference with the rear window at the back?
Either....I think I'll stick with my original thinking, except go for Boss 347 package instead of just 331. I'm not really concerned with peak hp...I'd be happy with anything between 450 to 500 hp. But I do like the Cleveland set-up because it's different, and the power potential is there. But with the Cleveland, stroking and EFI is pretty much mandatory for torque production.
I'm loving this thread! The Cleveland definitely needs more love!
