| Re: Redline Weber I am using the Redline ECU on my Ford 392 with stack injection in my Daytona Coupe. It is incredibly versatile. I have the spark and fuel version and my only issue is it has so much adjustability that my learning curve was steep! Once I got it figured out, I love it. One of the best features for a stack set up is the ability to mix TPS with the fuel map (kpa x rpm). This allows you to better manage fuel in situations where you rapidly close the throtle plates (high speed followed by braking). Without this feature too much fuel would be injected and thunderous back firing results! Also, as all stacks are speed density, at low rpm you can better stabilize the idle and transition by running more TPS over riding the fuel map and slowly reducing it to nothing as the rpms go up. To John's point, you set the firing order and it allows you to advance the time electronically both with rpm (mechanical) and manifold pressure (vacuum).
Bottom line, it is a great system with a lot of flexibility, but you will need to devote the time to understand the flexibility and impact of adjustments as they are all interrelated. Good luck in your decision!
