Question 289 parts manual

I'm doing a full overhaul on two 289 C5 and C6 engines I have some books telling me how to. But not the manual where to find the parts needed there must be some exploded drawing manual out there to buy/ copy as paper or on digital file.
And where do I buy my parts? For the C5 it will be just as Ford delivered in 65 no increased hp. The other engine is a different story and will be done later.

Regards Rune

Lightbulb Re: 289 parts manual

There are no "289" parts manuals per se, Ford had them listed by year and appilcation in the "Master Parts Catalogs" (MPC) that apply, i.e. one catalog covers 1960 to 1964 and the next 1965 to 1972.

I have these original catalogs and will be glad to supply part numbers as needed. Keep in mind most everything is obsolete and no longer available from Ford although I have access to much NOS stuff via a firend and a lot is available aftermarket.
