Does anyone has some experience with Gulf Oil Racing 5W60 competition 100% synthetic ?
Note I have a road/track engine SBFord 302 with aprox 380HP and I used sofar Motul Racing 100% synthetic.Great stuff but Gulf made me an offer ....(I have a GTD40 Gulf livery)
I used standard dyno lube in our races cars although I change it after about five to eight hours of time (except in the enduro where it can't be changed). Seems to work extremely well. I don't have experience with the Gulf product but know a few racers who use the Motul lube and like it just fine.
Did Gulf make any copyright/infringement comments to you on your Oil colored car? There was an announcement some weeks ago by CAV that Gulf might be involved in some official way with protecting "their color scheme".
