Re: are these original Cobra Valve Covers

Should be--Buddy Bar Casting Co was Shelbys company of choice at the time for stuff like manifolds-rocker covers-oil pans- however that does not mean that some unscrupulous types may not be replicating that logo as well.

Re: are these original Cobra Valve Covers

Buddy Bar was actually Ford's casting company of choice, had been for quite a while. I imagine that his connection with Ford was instrumental in Buddy Bar being the casting compnay for CS.

Re: are these original Cobra Valve Covers

The Company still exists, in Southgate CA (near Los Angeles) and is used by one of the Wheel Manufacturers that makes VERY high quality Wheels for Cobras, GT-40's, and other assorted Vintage racers. I had to call them once to track the run of wheels that included mine after they had been ordered for many months.

Look like they are making someones (take a guess) aluminum FE.
