AF212 14" air filter / cleaner. UK equivalent part code?

Hi, can anyone help out? Trying to source a replacement air filter, I even took my existing one to the motor factors but they couldn't help. It's a 14" AF212 round air filter, (paper with wire gauze). They couldn't cross reference it to anything because its a US part no......

Thanks guys.

Round filter 14'', how tall? We here in Nascar land use either WIX or K & N 14'' tall in 3.00,3.25,3.50,3.75 and 4.00 tall elements as required by Nascar.I may be able to help if these fit your requirements.

Re: AF212 14" air filter / cleaner. UK equivalent part code?

I am sure K&N do one that suits. Once when I had an odd sized air filter, I bought an oversized one and cut and shut it to a smaller diametre. The filament part is clipped on the inside where the filament meets up, just the rubber top and bottom was a continuous loop but that was easy enough to overcome. I think I used to get non K&N filters from Real Steel in Uxbridge. I am trying to remember it was either a 14 inch cut down to 13 inches or a 15 inch cut down to 14 inches. Whatever, I run without a filter now as my latest inlet manifold is a bit tall and so one doesn't fit under the rear clip.

The Motocraft BYFA-612 does the job well.
