Engine Serial Numbers
Can anyone explain to me how, back in the day, they coded engine serial numbers for the GT40 Mk I? I'm creating a data plate for the engine compartment and would like to replicate something that will approximate the naming protocol used by FAV or JW Automotive.

Probably can check with Lynn Miner, he offers the data plates already and there are threads on the forum about it.
