Question on the Cayote and UN1-27

The next time my Lotus Esprit V8 engine die, I'm considering converting it to Ford Cayote engine. I know I can buy the bellhousing to match the cayote but do you know if the transmission main shaft spline of the UN1-27 will match the Cayote? My spline is 21 tooth.

Be easier to just get a clutch plate made up with the 21 spline centre put in it.
