Fuel Pumps

I'm still in the planning stages but this question will not let me sleep tonight. Looking at putting in an Inglese stack EFI system on a 427 small block. But how do you control dual fuel tanks with dual pumps and return lines?

Simple

Cross over valve or solenoid valves

And a swirl pot

This sort of turns it into 3 separate fuel areas

So you get
Left Fuel tank to Low pressure pump to filter to change over valve to swirl pot
return from swirl pot to change over valve and back to lefttank

Right Fuel tank to Low pressure pump to filter to change over valve to swirl pot return from swirl pot to change over valve and back to right tank

Then Swirl pot to High pressure pump to filter to fuel rail to pressure regulator
Return from regulator to Swirl pot
