If they're kept clean, they should be fine for regular road use. I would suspect they would be too restrictive for any track work or sustained high RPMs.

Thanks Randy regular road use will be mainly it's use, with hopefully an Italian tune up by way of a short blast down the Mulsanne Straight at next years Classic Le Mans.
