| colors of original GT40s
I understand that GT40s in the initial 289 engine series, the Mark 1 cars as they were later called, were available in quite a few colors- I read somewhere 150! Here's my question; does anyone know where paint chips which would accurately show those colors are available? Or, would any set of Ford USA color chips from 1965 or 1966 show the colors? any help is appreciated, as I would like to see what was out there then, and what Opalescent Maroon really looks like...
