Re: Side window vent hinges.

If you don't mind me adding to this, Paul, who could provide, in addition to the hinges, the prop/lock mechanism for the vent window (sometimes called the "toll flap".)

Thanks,
Lynn

Re: Side window vent hinges.

I got two sets of hinges and the "toll flap" from the UK, probably Brian Wingfield (it was 9 years ago, so I don't quite remember).

Re: Side window vent hinges.

Cheers Lynn, I should have added the prop/lock mechanism as I also require 2 sets of these.

Re: Side window vent hinges.

I can confirm that Roy will be able to supply these. I believe they will be available in either clear acrylic or aluminium.

Brian.

Colin,

Peter Ransom has these available as well. I just received

mine yesterday. Nice stuff! I don't know how much they cost.

I'll send you a photo later today.

Bill

Re: Side window vent hinges.

I have a different set up - the whole window pivots open a little at the back to allow a through flow of air or the window and be removed completely and stowed next to the seat for a fully open window. heres a pic - the toll hindges are a bit small I think to be of any cooling use.
