| Provided you use a good quallity paint system like Dupont, PPG, BASF (or higher) Sikkens, Standox, Spies Hecker. You should get away with 3 liters of basecoat and four liters of clear. Of course all depends on how profecient you are at painting!? One liter of Orange should to do for the striping. I would say go with a gray primer as it will be easiest to cover and try not to leave any sand through places in the finished prep work. If you do sand through use a nonsanding sealer to cover your 'burn through's' at the last minute before starting to basecoat. The even gray base will make it easier to cover and get consistent holdout on the color.
