Rep Power: 3 | Front air intake screen I have noticed some GT40s have a mesh type screen covering the front air scoop. where can I get one for my GTD. Or is open the correct way it should be? |

Rep Power: 10 | Dennis, it's not "correct" as far as I know to have a screen, but I do like the added protection and it doesn't look bad, IMHO. On my GTD I used stainless steel mesh from a metal supplier and cut it to fit and attached it from behind using beads of construction adhesive. There are probably nicer ways to attach it than that, but it works for me.

Rep Power: 19 | I have noticed that a lot of the pics I posted in the old forum have been lost, misplaced, found the lost sock in the dryer place, etc..... I am beginning to think that pics that were uploaded in the middle of the text are lost and only those uploaded at the end were saved somehow. Really too bad, as some of those cannot be replaced. Some of my build thread are the same. I plan to get the missing ones to Ron and hopefully he can get them back in. Here are a couple I found on the stainless thread.
