Was there a significant red MK!? I here a lot of people saying to pick an original and replicate that car. I like that idea but I don't know which cars to research. All my pictures are black and white!
I think that you'll find that several significant GT40s were red at some point. The question is (I assume—but can't answer without re-reading Ronnie Spain's book) were any red when they BECAME significant. I know that both P1039 and 1040 started out red under the Filipinetti team and there were many others too.
That is really spooky!!! Car number 1033 is red just like what I want and my chassis number is 33! What are the odds. Thanks for the pictures, you are a wealth of information.
