door panels

im looking for ideas on the inner door panels for rcr that i will be receiving
shortly fromfran.
i realise the originals didnt have much by way of lining/handles/pockets etc but im keen to take peoples opinion or look at photos of what other
users have currently got.

Ricky,

This is one your just going to have to spend some time at 'till you decide what you like. Look at everyone's stuff since this is almost always done by the builder himself. Do consider the DRB/GT40 Australia cars as they had the most out of the box options for doors, IMHO.

Ricky, some ideas in the following pics. I am at that stage also, & am inclined to go with an open trim arrangement so that you can actually get to the only storage areas in the car. I am thinking of panels that can take door speakers in the future (if I ever get masochistic enough to run the wiring), a narrow arm-rest along the bottom of the opening, & carpet on the inside of the doors (like the red/beige car).
