Rep Power: 12 | Picking My Seat I'd like to share pictures of my new GT40 seats from RCR. The workmanship is just as fantastic as the Alcantara covering feels. I should have taken pictures before I installed them (just couldn't wait) so I hope you can see the incredible attention to detail from these pictures. I now see why Alcantara is the choice for F1 seats and all the high end exotics. The seats really changed the overall look of the car and the driving grip is terrific.

| Re: Picking My Seat Ultrasuede is standard.....Alcantara is done on a one off basis as it actually costs more than leather....the fabric is ony available from a couple of sources in the USA and they have a strangle hold....the fabric alone is almost twice the price of leather.

they look great!
Does anyone know if they would fit in a GTD & do they have holes for a crotch strap? |

Rep Power: 12 | Re: Picking My Seat Julian, I'm sure they would fit in a GTD as they are of a very slim width as originals. Mine do not have the seat hole but I'm sure they can be done. Fran can let us know.

Rep Power: 9 | Re: Picking My Seat It looks beautiful Mark. My next project is a seat upgrade for my CAV. One question, is Alcantara fire resistant? I'd hate to put anything in the car that adds to the risk.
