Rep Power: 7 | Headlights and Taillights Looking through other posts, I've read that the original Mk I's used Marchal TP21SP headlights and Fiat 850 Coupe taillights (two-taillight rear clip).
The headlights are becoming more scarce than hen's teeth and what is available is not cheap. Are there any other alternatives out there? I'm not real hung up on authenticity so a slight difference in shape or markings is not a big deal.
What years of the Fiat 850 had the taillights I need? Was it only certain body styles? I've found a couple of Fiat salvage yards on the net and I'd like to have all the appropriate info before I call them.
Thanks,
Charlie |

I used the Renault 12 headlamps, very close shape to the marchal. For the taillights I believe there is an outfit in The UK that has lots of them, Ricambio is the company name. I don't have their phone but ld bet some of the guys over there on the forum can steer you the right way.
If you need a pair of headlamps and mounts PM me I have a couple of sets..I will post a photo here.
Cheers

I have seen a car that has these fitted - a bit narrower than original but not bad - and you can get a complete 2CV for the same price as original lights!

Rep Power: 2 | Re: Headlights and Taillights My car has Lucas headlights as fitted to Ford Mk1 Escort Twin Cam. Not original 40 fitment but I have seen at least one original 40 with these fitted, either 1006 or 1008 I think but it was years ago and they may have been changed since. |
