What font are the letters?

My painter needs to know what font the letters are to paint the rockers. I am not going to use a stripe, just the words "Ford GT 40". Anybody know?

I think was covered before, do a search. Might have been "Microgramma Bold"

Dean, I would find the exact style you like from pictures, bring the picture to the painter, and then match that to a font name if needed. For example, if you like the letters that are wider than they are tall, etc. I didn't do this and settled for a second-choice font after the stripes were cut out. So show them what you want to be sure.

First the ability to estimate time goes to hell as you get older, so it may have actually been longer than that. And, as such the thread may have been one of those mangled in one of the software upgrades. I know all of my really old posts are attributed to someone called "unknown" or something like that ;-)
