Stripe design? Pictures?

Hello,

I want to paint three stripes onto my SPF40.

Could anybody post some pictures (and dimensions) which show the rear view of such a paint scheme??

I can't make up my mind and would like to see how others designed their stripes...

Thanks in advane,

Markus

Perhaps some "sticker" stripes would be a good idea until you decide exactly what you are after.

I believe there are a couple of people in the UK who do them - one being Brian Magee who you should fund on the Forum user list, then there is also a Canadian supplier who get high praise for his decals etc.

Likewise I believe you can get the stripes done in a few different film type from static cling (like a tax disc holder) through an easy peal adhesive to an adhesive that will remove paint with it!

I plan on doing just this and when my current colour scheme seems "old" I will have them redone in a different colour / style.

For an assortment of stripes I would suggest a look through GT40 by ronnie Spain which has pictures of all the originals in various guises.

Good luck with the choice - but then again they all look great

Ian
